Who steals time? The march of the clock seems to happen much more quickly…or is it just me?
I love the variety my jobs give me, just sometimes I would wish for a few more minutes in each hour. This is where my “end of the day list” tip kicks in. Remember I spoke about this in my first blog of 2016? It does help keep me on track, and I use it as a Lecturer as well as my own bid writing. There is something about writing your “To do” list at the end of the day, that means when you start again in the morning you do start straight away. No procrastinating, or doodling, or having another coffee (who me?). Also enables me to eat that frog – getting rid of the task you’ve been putting off. So just sit down, pc on and away we go.
And nothing is better than crossing items off the list. Especially if that list is on a post it attached to my PC. HUGE. And then I reward myself with that second cup of coffee. And time is no longer being stolen. Used efficiently, effectively and calmly.
Ticking, you say? What ticking??
