And now you can begin (part 2)

If you are starting to bid regularly, you can make some preparations to speed up your process for the next time. It’s also very useful if you want to use an external bid writer to help you increase your likelihood of success.

It’s important for me to stress here, that every bid submission should be tailored to meet the bid specification. Just cutting and pasting will not be acceptable. Time and care should always be taken to respond to each opportunity as if you are writing the content for the very first time, even if it isthe history of your company.

Couple of tips:

  1. Gather your policies and procedures electronically in a folder (remembering to update it when the documents are revised)
  2. Scan in your last 3 years accounts
  3. Scan in your insurances – or create a table with the information (insurance company, policy number, limit, renewal date)

I can help you build a bank of documents to speed up the bidding process, taking the pain away and freeing you up to use your time elsewhere within your business. If this sounds like something you need, get in touch for a no obligation coffee and a chat!
